What it is

The FIP Four-Monthly Report details equity stakes in investee companies, capital changes, exits, mark-to-market valuations and active participation in the investees' governance. It is filed every four months, within 15 days after the end of the civil four-month period, under Supplement L of CVM Resolution 175. It replaced the former FIP quarterly report, discontinued by the CVM in 2025.

Penalties for non-compliance

Fine for late filing, warning and, in serious cases, suspension of fundraising.
